Budget series Lenovo has introduced A1000; a throwback to 2013 when all phones were bulky and slow. The price drop is thanks to Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset and is embodied perfectly in Lenovo A1000. The phone is built with 10.6mm thickness and 132g weight, back cover is roughly design and feels sweaty to hold for a longer period of time. Lenovo?s A1000 holds a Small 4 inch display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution and 233 ppi density limits the phone from HD playback and high-end gaming. Lenovo A1000?s Quad-Core processor is clocked at 1.3GHz that runs the Color UI OS to its fullest capacity with the help of 1GB DDR2 RAM. Color UI OS is built on Android 5.0 Lollipop with tweaks by Lenovo for A1000 to run properly. Phone embeds 8GB ROM but supports microSD card up-to 32GB. Handheld mounts a 5MP camera unit with LED flash for assistance in low light conditions and Lenovo supports HD video recording, HDR and panorama in A1000 as well. front camera is VGA and is good only for emergency video calls. Connectivity package includes 3G, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 and A-GPS support alongside traditional micro USB 2.0 support of A1000. Built according to its chipset, 2000mAh battery provides talk time of 11 hours on 3G and standby of about a week. Targeted towards budget android people, A1000 packs a great package but lacks latest technology. Dual SIM standby is provided in the handheld and supports two Mini SIM slots with 3G connectivity in first but 2nd SIM limits to 2G only. A1000 packs a small TFT display and sub standard VGA selfie camera with considerable amount of RAM for light multi-tasking operations that makes it a ideal choice for office use. A1000 by Lenovo will be available in two colors i.e. great black and pure white and comes with 12 months warranty. Released in September 2015, Lenovo A1000 provides 24/7 customer support.
